I’m Just Not Sure – Finish the Story

Finish the Story

“I watched the vulture looking at me hungrily as I lay on the ground bleeding and injured.” Injured is really an understatement, I was dead… well, dying. 11 Seconds. Somebody counted. 11 seconds for your brain to stop functioning after it’s been severed from your body. The vulture, it’s not his fault. I suppose with only 8 seconds left I should be angry at him, but I’m glad. With less than 7 seconds to go, I’m glad he’ll satisfy that appetite of his. What a strange position for my head to fall after being decapitated. I didn’t imagine I’d get to see this vulture, and with only 5 seconds left, I don’t imagine I’ll see much else. Heck, I can’t even look around. Its better this way. I’m not sure I want to see people jeering to my left for 3 more seconds or people applauding to my right for a whole 2 more seconds. I’m just not sure…
